January 25: A Gracious Place
In 2025 I’ll be adding a single print to the store every month, until there are the full collection of 12 available in December. At midnight on December 31st they’re all getting taken down.
There will be a limited availability of 25 copies of each print, which will be produced professionally in Salisbury and signed by myself.
Prints measure A4 and have a border; they will be unframed but well-packaged to avoid damage in transit.

January 25: A Gracious Place
In the 1970s the marketing for the Barbican advertised it as ‘a gracious place for living in the city’. Originally designed as housing for the common man/woman, it is now one of the most trendy and sought after places to live in the city.
There’s no denying it’s a fascinating and photogenic location, with its brutalist architecture and common green spaces, but it’s also a real time warp. One can’t help but feel a bit like a character in a Le Carré novel when walking around its quiet walkways.
This photo was a chance encounter; I originally wanted to photograph the light & shadow, but it so happened an elderly resident returned home with her shopping at just that moment. I wondered if she’d been there since its opening…
