This week I made the big decision to sell my Nikon Z8, which I was barely using, and use the funds to test whether or not I wanted to move to Fujifilm completely.
I adore my Nikon Z5II and I am still nowhere near the point of selling it, but I have used my Fujifilm X100VI more than any other camera over the past 6 months – and I sometimes wish I could mimic the looks between my X100 shots and my ILC shots.
With this in mind, I purchased a second hand X-T5 and the 16-55 f/2.8 lens – I am also awaiting the arrival of the 18mm f/1.4 WR LM. So far it’s an enjoyable camera – but the zoom lens is rather hefty, and that has been irksome. I am therefore looking forward to the prime arriving.
I have only used it a few times in the past couple of days, so nowhere near enough to review or anything yet – but watch this space for more info soon.
Some initial shots…
